Interschool Football tournament

On Wednesday 7th of August some of the Makauri School students competed in a interschool football tournament. My team was called the Mean Machines we placed first in the girls division🏆 I scored the winning goal for my team⚽. Our final was against Mangapapa, we did very well and worked together as a team to defeat the other teams. I really enjoyed the tournament because I got to learn new skills and everybody worked together as a team. The Makauri boys (The turf cutters) came second and tried very hard but sadly got defeated in an nerve wracking final.

    I was the goalie in the Mangapapa team that you faced in the final and I thought that your team played really well against us. I loved that you said that the boys lost in a nerve racking final because it really was and it was good that you thought they played well.

    Hi Georgie, My names Kassidy from Mangapapa School in Room 12. Your interschool football sounded really fun. You and your team must of put all your effort into football to go to interschool. Was it challenging facing our football team?

    Thanks Kassidy for the comment,It was a really fun experience and my team put alot of effort into the game. And yes we had to work really hard to defeat Mangapapa.
