Reading Group Questions

This is my questioning inquiry that my reading group created. We read a story called hero there were two characters called AJ (the boy who was drowning) and Caine (the hero), it was about a boy that was going fishing at a wharf when he noticed a young boy drowning. He was quick to react and jumped into the water to save him. The current was very strong and he struggled to swim without the boy drowning. When they finally got back to sure by a boat that was out at sea. Everybody called him a hero. Caine was only young at the time and he did not really know why people were calling him a hero.

  1. Kia ora Georgie,
What a great summary of the story Hero. Sounds like an interesting (and intense) read! The group activity looked like it was a fun way of learning about different levels of questions. Could you explain the difference between a level 2 and 3 question please? I am working in a class where they are using the same learning about question levels and it would help me connect with their learning easier.
    Baie dankie Georgie.

  2. Kia Ora Mr Fourie,
Thanks for the comment, we added 1,2 and 3 because we thought that some were easy to answer and some we had to think about that didn't get explained in the text. 1 means beginning,2 means Developing and 3 means Advanced. We thought this was a great way to sort out our questions.
